Welcome to Cuban barefoot medicine
Obama said he was going to fundamentally change America. He has
So - Gasoline is 3.00 to 6.00 a gallon… Biden stickers are on pumps saying “See-I did that” Small airplane (Cessna) oil filters are hard to get, take a month to get one in! Chicken and turkey raising barns in Texas are empty. Try to find a Turkey for Thanksgiving. Good luck.. Eggs and milk are sky high.
But - let’s say you have a family member, or a child that has a tracheostomy. Oh wait.. for the liberals reading my newsletter.. that majored in sex studies or underwater basket weaving in todays liberal art colleges…. A tracheostomy is a surgical “hole” made in the front of the neck to allow a person to breathe through that hole and not up through the vocal cords and thus in and out of the mouth. It is necessary temporarily in some conditions. In many neurological conditions, it is a permanent requirement. Usually a small silicone plastic tube with some “wings” on the side allow the surgeon to place a band around the back of the neck to keep it comfortably in place.
And now… we have a shortage of endotracheal tubes? Really? This just came out of the Texas Medical Association daily bulletin. I hope all you liberal, leaning slightly communist doctor friends of mine are proud..of your accomplishment with the Covid VAXX morbidity and mortality and now this.. That is okay, in the communist hospital you may get assigned to the tracheostomy tube washing sink detail at the end of your medical surgical shift…. Enjoy…(oh by the way) - it is indeed safe to wash a tube and re-use it..we are just so use to throw away “things”
The rest of you normal people please go vote this coming Election Day.
Here is the bulletin..
FDA Announces Shortage Of Tracheostomy Tubes
Reuters(10/31, Mandowara) reports the FDA “said on Monday there was a shortage of tracheostomy tubes, a surgical device that helps patients to breathe, including those manufactured by ICU Medical.” The FDA “said the shortage was due to difficulties in raw material procurement and would most likely impact pediatric patients.” The agency “has recommended reusing tracheostomy tubes after following proper sanitary procedures in order to deal with the current shortage.”
Today, FDA has a bad track record for truthfulness. Go for generic trach mfgs. Entrepreneurially leverage medical distribution - many many competing warehouses, bet somebody's warehouse - in the USA/world - is sitting on em.
