Our grandparents had it right.. planted them even in cities...
There appears to be way too many occurrences for this to be a coincidence. I suggest one look long and hard at where you shop, what you are used to eating and how you might provide if there indeed becomes widespread shortages. Do realize most large American cities only have about three days worth of food in the storehouses. Cut that off and there might be riots in front of all the closed fast food joints that our welfare class has become used to eating — The old advertisement “where’s the beef?” might really come true.

But do read through what is happening at the “industrial” level of food production and distribution.
