We surgeons tend to be to the point and abrupt. Sorta like fighter pilots.. “min comm”
I flew to Oshkosh once with a retired Navy jet fighter pilot in right seat. I told him I wanted him to comment on improving my flight skills, even shot a couple of instrument approaches with him as check pilot (under the hood). After the five ours up and five hours back I asked him. “What can I improve?” He said “min comm and always call sign” - that is he felt I was on the microphone too long when talking to ground control, center etc. So point is some of us are trained to be short and snappy in our communications. And I need to always add my radio call sign to every single transmission.
The article below is too long. Point is briefly.. The bear has gained control of the yard cause the people let it. Ditto what happened with COVID.. and they are just figuring this out?
Although long- worth a read, just to see all the data. For our naysayer friends who think we are spreading “mis-information”.. Wake up and smell the coffee. We are not the ones that need to be in jail.
