What a waste of taxpayer dollars. I think it represents fraud waste and abuse. Heck yes I think Ft Hood could well be named after MOH winner Benavidez from San Antonio but as the article points out there are hundreds of connections. It is a slap at history to remove all the statues and signs. We need some lawmakers on the defense committees to stand up and stop this silliness…. As a Navy destroyer was named after my high school track buddy, Marine, and posthumous MOH Freddy Gonzales from Edinburg Texas… lets just move forward and stop the rewriting of American history.
