EMP? CME? or AI?
Preparing for future defense
Today, a bunch of us old codgers met for a military pilots lunch. Most of the conversations involved talking with hands, emulating flight. We talked about Neil Armstrong flying the landing craft (never been done before)…in the airless lunar environment (never been done before)…amazing!!! We talked about what we had seen and didn’t talk about what we couldn’t because of prior security clearance. Eventually came down to EMP risks, via nuke…..or coronal mass ejection (CME). We groused about the young kids in medicine, young kids in fighter jet cockpits…But….here we are re-living yesterday’s wars and unaware of the future.
While our adversaries are reading Sun Tzu.
They don’t want us to be destroyed, they want us to feed them and provide goods and petrochemicals. So how will they beat us when we are in a war and don’t even realize it. Yes folks we are living in WWIII- and we are fighting (wasting our time) about SCOTUS decisions.
I read this article by El Gato Malo and said wow!!!! So as you complain about your kids, grandkids playing with those video games - maybe our warriors of tomorrow - are simply training. To protect our country like past generations have done.
